Cider Pressing at Link's will now be on *Sunday, October 23, 2016*.
Details about apples will be coming as soon as I can make some calls this
morning.
There was a request for me to share the materials I used in the BJCP
discussion.

a. Proposed Jockey Box Maintenance ~ $40.
b. Funds would be for the hoses, fittings, etc replaced
c. Motion made and Vote was passed as a yes
2. Upcoming Events –
a. Learn to Homebrew Day

– 5:00pm – Ticketed Music event afterwards so unless you want to watch the
band, need to be wrapped up and out by 6pm

you can’t make record the total gallons brewed to be submitted to AHA

b. Fall Down in Asheville NC - Club Trip to visit Breweries
i. Make
it a weekend if you like but the club planned date is November 19, 2016

at the Hi-Wire Big Top Location - 2 Huntsman Pl Asheville, NC

till we ‘Fall Down’ in Asheville (responsible drinking and no driving is
promoted)
c. Cider Pressing at Link’s – DATE CHANGE – October 23, 2016

Potentially
looking at 6 participants if apples can be secured
ii. Need
to estimate 3 bushels per 5 gallon batch of cider
iii. Variety
of apples is best for flavor
iv. Justin
offered a press to assist with the event

to start will be around 10:00 am

to call two orchards to see about moving a bin

a. Kingsport Oktoberfest 2016 was one of the biggest showings at the
OMB tent.

VERY dirty and need server cleaning

e. Is a brew kettle that is a 16 gallon for an amount of $124.00 seen
on Redit a good price?

on materials and the thickness on the bottom
