the press for Saturday, Oct 29 as the first weekend day available. The
club is invited to my house in Abingdon that day to press. We’ll begin at
10:00 and go into the afternoon. Kids and families are welcome to join us
and I’ll also be inviting some non-club friends. It’s a festive time so
plan to come and hang out for the day. Bring something to share pot luck
and we’ll eat lunch together as well. Please bring your own apples but
recognize that they do all get mixed together so it’s unlikely you’ll get
juice exclusively from what you bring. Depending on yield, it takes about
three bushels to guarantee enough for a 5 gal batch of cider. Anyone who
has a press and would like to bring it along is welcome to do so. That
