Hi, Kathleen,

Those fiber 1 brownies sound delicious. I wouldn't mind trying one myself.

Oh I think it will and I just had a snack. I bought those fiber one brownies
and boy are they good. They're not very big you get six in the box. I had
some mint ones. And they're pretty good too so I said they're not very big.
Each box has six in them. I have meant once and I have chocolate ones. I may
have one of those before I go to the event I don't know. Sometimes they have
food out of the event so that's not too bad. But anyway I'll probably just
have coffee at the event. But the fiber one brownies are each individually
wrapped. And that's pretty cool. I just wish they had more in the box but
that's OK. And it doesn't taste like artificial meant or chocolate either. I
wasn't sure if I would like them but boy I do. I got them at the store when
I went shopping last weekend it was pretty good. But anyway I'm looking
forward to Sunday too.

The ham radio event is going to be good. It's going to be a nice boat
ride over to Staten Island. And the weather is going to be good to
according to the seven day forecast. No rain thank goodness just son.
And not very cold either. But it's going to be a great event.
Hopefully everything will go smoothly and there won't be any crisis
ease. But I probably won't have my mocha until I come back home.

you get to finish the book you're reading.

Well today I had my favorite beverage of course that's coffee. How I
make my coffee is this I make a cuppa coffee and then I put a packet
of Swiss Miss hot chocolate in it and stir it up. It's like a cheap
mocha and it's awesome. Very good. I really enjoy it it's great. It's
cheaper than going to Starbucks and getting a regular one. Even
though I could. But I'll tell you this much I like pumpkin coffee
too. Here it has a pretty neat pumpkin coffee and it's great. Another
friend of mine told me that there's a book I want it's all done
talking book already. It's based on that movie called the Martians
what I'm going to get it. But I'm going to finish these other books
1st. Then when I send everything back I'll start new again. Right now
I'm just listening to the news. There now and commercial. I use it
listen to CVS from five until seven. But I'm not sure if there's any
baseball games on tonight. I know the Yankees play Houston tomorrow.
And I hope we win. I also have the ham r adio meeting tonight on the
radio..
Tuesday night is our Live Meeting I think. Although he'll announce
that tonight. That's basically how it goes. Each person in the group
takes charge of the net either once or twice a month. I've done it a
couple times it is pretty cool. We just take check inns of that's
pretty neat. The net goes from like 830 until about nine Eastern.
It's a pretty good net. We have different people as I said take it
once or twice a month Sunday I go to Staten Island and do the half
marathon. I will be in the medical tent with a bunch of medical
people. I really enjoy working with that group. I like the doctor
that works with that group. Really nice gentleman. I think I'll
probably have to leave here around 5 AM Sunday morning. But I'll get
back here probably around two in the afternoon and that's not bad.
I'm not sure if were going to do the diabetes walk this year but I'll
have to listen tonight and find out. But the biggest event we have is
the New York City Marathon and that's huge

Hi, Kathleen,

I agree with Jerry. You have two choices. You could either go on and
on about this woman and let her get to you or just drop it and move
on. Let's try being positive for a change.

Okay, you don't have to deal with her, just consider the source and
move
on.
Second, I've had sighted people ask me if all blind people are related.
Pretty stupid right.
Hey, maybe you and I are brother and sister, how about that?
I like it when people ask me if I've been blind all of my life and I
say, not yet.
Or, when they yell at me because they think I hear with my eyes.
I really don't think every one on this list would like to be related
to me, I'm pretty brash at times.

Well I was very tempted to ask her that. I didn't know what she
would
say.

But it's just totally crazy that she would make comments like that.
And I really don't want know where this lady got her ideas from
either. Maybe she just didn't look out on the net read articles
about blindness. But that's just the way that goes. But I'll tell
you this much she's really ignorant envoy I think a lot of line
people if they read some of her comments they will probably give
her some back I don't think she'd like the results.

Document yet hearing things that weren't there was kind of scary.
I really don't want to have that experience again. But I think
I'm going to have a block this lady out of my Facebook account.
Her delete her as a friend. Well I didn't think she was that
ignorant but apparently she is. She thinks the blind people
should only socialize with each other and that we shouldn't marry
sighted people.
That's just really crazy.
And she had this idea if I got somebody cited to read my mail but
it might turn into a regular relationship. I don't know where she
gets these ideas. And I asked her why she felt blind people
shouldn't marry sighted people and she said that just wasn't
acceptable. I just don't know where she got these ideas from. And
then she kept giving me these numb phone numbers for these
agencies for the blind to read my mail. I told her I already knew
about them. And she gave and gave me the phone number of the
agency for the blind those recreation in my building. And I
tol
d her I didn't want to be around blind people all the time. She
said well you blind people have everything in common. What I
don't know where

people get these weird ideas from one is just really weird. So I
haven't

talk to her lately. I don't even message her through messenger
anymore.

I guess she doesn't want to talk to me because I wouldn't do what
she wanted. But anyway that's OK. I just don't know why she was
that ignorant I thought she was more intelligent than that but I
guess
not.

Walt I really wish you luck getting your teeth pulled. Ouch I
don't think I'd like to be in your place. When I had my four
wisdom teeth taken out

they
were had to be taken out before they were fully formed. I went
to sleep. I was not going to have that done awake. And I wish
you're glad until all

the
stuff were off. Then it hurt. Then I found out that I couldn't
handle coding. When I took codeine, I got very dizzy, my ears
rang, and I heard things that weren't there. So that was the end
of me and coding. I could never take that stuff again. Because I
sure don't want to have that experience again. That was really
scary. But I wish you luck at your appointment and I hope it
goes smoothly for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

It's Monday again, and once again I'm heading for the dentist's
office. Today, a consultation with the oral surgeon who'll be
extracting my bottom right wisdom tooth - the one with a curved

And if it does, maybe these

five
nuggets will help. As usual, the Dropbox link comes first; then,
the track list.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3177119/Nuggets1005.zip

01 MerryGoRound, Live (Full Version)

Though I cannot recall exactly when this came out, it surely
sounds like 1967 to me.

02 Jonathan King - Round, Round

I never heard this in 67, when it was released. At least where I
was, it must not have received anything close to the air play
given Jonathan's 1965 hit, "Everyone's Gone to the Moon."

03 Walter Vaughn - Down On My Knees

The late Dr. Don Rose had this on his play list at WEBC here in
Duluth for a bit during the summer of 61. But if I could find it
on Youtube, it must have been played elsewhere as well even
though Duluth was the only market in which I heard it.

04 Pat Boone, With the Wind and the Rain in Your Hair

I think this gets the nod as my favorite by Boone. Released at
the beginning of 1959, it features Billy Vaughn's orchestra.

05 David Seville, Gotta Get To Your House

Before the Chipmunks and the witch doctor, David Seville was
making records. The earliest I'm aware of was released in 1951.
This one, the first by Seville that I ever heard on the radio,
came out during summer 1957.

Thanks for considering these nuggets. I hope you have a good
enough Monday, and a fine week.
