I agree.  People often resort to name calling and throwing words
around when they don't even know what they mean.  Conservatives are
often called fascists, liberals are often called socialists or
communists and the people who use those words don't know what they
mean.

In any case, I agree that we should avoid discussing politics here.
The purpose of this group is to discuss and share music, discuss
blindness issues and offer support to one another.  Let us not stray
from the original purpose of this group.  Many people unsubscribe from
email lists because list members often post things that have nothing
to do with the purpose of that list.

Anyone who thinks republicans are communists has no idea what communism was
or is, if it even still exists. I have friends whose political views differ
greatly from mine, and we get along just fine, without name calling or
personal attacks.
