Hi All,
Just had to share this wonderful fun record from the summer of 1965. The New
Arrivals were four college students from San Jose State who got together each
summer and recorded a record. Steve Nomer played this for my friend Darlene
last week, and when he did, I almost fell off of my bed I was so surprised and
pleased. He sent the mp3 to me. Oh my, I'm so glad to have it, and I've played
it again and again. Dar always had the better record collection as she had
money to buy records with and I didn't have nearly as much. At the time, I was
a huge Beau Brummels fan, having a mad crush on lead singer Sal Valentino, who
lived in my immediate area. This wasn't by any means the first song I'd heard
by the New Arrivals, and I had to learn it on the piano and of course transposed
it and would sing it for friends. Anyway, hope Outlook or Window-Eyes or
whichever program I'm having a problem with will cooperate with me so I can send
the attachment.
