From what I understand from my friend Ann, the lady who works for the 49ers,
Paton Manning didn't look like he was on top of his game, in that his passes
weren't getting where they were supposed to. Westwood One made the comment that
never had a quarterback done so poorly in the regular season and still wound up
in the Superbowl. Hope he can now retire gracefully.

rooting for Carolina but found myself rooting for Denver as the game went on.
