Here’s hoping you can get back in contact with the Home Care agency which may
or may not have tried to call you.
I know what you mean about Time-Werner not having accessible DVS. My friend in
Maine has the same system, and whenever something goes out, he has to call
them. Luckily, though, for him, he’s in a rural part of Maine and they have
people there who are very knowledgeable and very nice to work with in their
technical department. Wish the same were true everywhere and with all cable
service.
Direct TV is part of AT&T, so I pay my Direct TV bill through AT&T. The remote
looks pretty simple to work, and the only time I have to directly aim it toward
the TV is turning it on and off. I’ve located the DVS button, right next to
the volume up and down button, and I know how to press it to get DVS. Channel
9, our local PBS channel, wasn’t running anything at the time with audio
description, but I was shown how to work the remote to turn it on in case they
have DVS shows running.

Well I can't get the describe things to work on my TV the reason being is if
I turn on that particular channel I need cited help to do it and not only that
if they turn it on and it goes into Spanish. So Time Warner won't even let me
do it because their menus are not accessible and this is not right but that's
just the way that goes. I was going to take my cassette player back to the
library but that didn't happen oh well maybe tomorrow I just didn't feel like
going and I had no energy I stayed in the hot shower tonight hoping to get some
relief. I got a little but I don't know how long it's gonna last. But I really
enjoyed the hot shower I really good and I also enjoyed my shower gel it's kind
a like a coconut smell and it's really good but anyway I was talking to a
friend of mine today and he so will be good when I have the surgery. But I get
a minor Oaks. And I hope I can fix it this home care agency called me and I
thought it was a company selling something and I told him I wasn't interested
and I think it was the home care agency go supposed to help me after the
surgery. Well I hope I can straighten it out. I told my friend in Ohio what I
did all well maybe they can fix it they told me they would try to find out who
called me and I have no idea. The agency is based in Brooklyn it's called
summit home care and I also lady if they were bonded and they said yes so
that's a good thing in their favor. They also are home care they offer physical
therapy and everything so that's the way that goes. But I have to go back and
do the blood work and I'll do that soon.

It’s out already, from what I understand. Tomorrow I’m getting Direct TV
installed as part ofmy AT&T U-Verse. They’ve been wanting me to get TV for as
long as I’ve had the account, and just as of today, I have inherited one of my
mom’s TV’s. Nothing is wrong with it. She’s giving it to me because she
bought a new TV that has more of a rectangular screen, and I gather she’s a
little disturbed because the faces sometimes have minor blemishes on them, and
she can see the lines people have in their faces. So much for high definition
TV, right? But, they’ve given me a $300 Visa rewards card that I’ll be able to
use like cash, and once I get it, I’ll pay U-Verse bills with that, which will
hold me over till I end my cell phone contract (it’ll be up in August). So
obviously tomorrow I can’t see if the movie is playing in Alameda, but if it
is, I’ll let you know so you can see if it’s playing at a theater one of your
sisters can take you to. I gather from my cousin Doug that it’s a wonderful
movie. I think he’s seen it, and I’m pretty sure he’s read the book.

I haven’t seen a commercial for the movie yet either, but boy, when it comes
out, I’m going, even if I have to go by myself!! It’ll likely play at the
theater we have in Alameda.

Actually, Marcia wrote to the MSB list, saying she and Rob read the book from
Barred, two years ago. So, they must be resurfacing it since the movie is or
will be showing. I haven’t seen a commercial for it.

This has been on bard for a long time. It’s a good book to read if you’re a big
rock music fan.

As some of you know, I am a huge Wrecking Crew fan. I bought the movie and
contributed to the kickstarrter campaign to raise money to get the movie out.
They had a ton of royalties to pay which if you ever see the movie you'd
understand why.
The Wrecking Crew played on literally thousands of records from the 60s to the
mid-70s.
Anyway, NLS just got around to doing one of the definitive books on the
Wrecking Crew.
The Wrecking Crew: the inside story of rock and roll's best-kept secret DB74698
Hartman, Kent. Reading time: 11 hours, 56 minutes.
Read by Bill Wallace.
