We’ve had a second travel trailer for a long time. We’ve kept it in storage
here on the property where we are now. We’ve been paying $40 a month to keep
it there. Lately we’ve used it as storage for things that were in our truck.
We thought the truck was going to be repaired, so we put all the things in the
rear of the truck in the trailer. Well, today we put it up for sale after
emptying it out, about 9 o’clock this morning. We came back home and made
breakfast. Noticed a ding went off on Duane’s phone. He had missed a call. So
called them back and they made an offer. This was 45 minutes after we put it
out by the Shell sign at the store/gas station where the manager told us to sit
it. The guy said he wants to pick it up tomorrow if his money for a loan he’s
applying for comes through. So, right now we are on cloud 9. We praised God
immediately and I’m praying everything will go through so they can pick it up
as planned. What a relief. Didn’t want to move it to the new property. So,
we’re asking a very low price. If it works out, though, it will pay for the
new washer and dryer we just purchased for the new home, on a high interest
credit card. So, yay! I just hope we’re not disappointed come tomorrow. I
probably should have waited to mention it, but it’s just too cool. Never
thought it would happen so soon.
