Hi Kathleen,
No, I can't say that I have been to the restaurant you mentioned. I'm from
South west michigan and don't venture out of this part of michigan much.

Hi Kathleen, I know you will be glad to get back to your apartment. I hate
packing and moving, too.
In answer to your question, My condo was a two nedrromc and one bath. It was
pretty small.
I lived there for many years.
When I remarried five years ago I decided it was time to sell the condo. We
have allot of computer stuff so it would have been kind of crowded for us. I
like that someone else does the repairs around here, smile.
Take care and God bless.

Well I have tons of boxes here in the living room. I think my police scanner
got accidentally packed. Oh well. I'll find it after I get home. The lady
told me she didn't packet but I have no clue where it is. You don't want I'll
find it when I don't need it. Oh well no big deal. Anyway I was just
listening to the Yankee game and we were losing so I decided to come out and
do email. I've never had that kind of tea in the K cups does it have milk in
it? Just curious. I had a hot shower earlier and wash my hair. I have a lot
of different flavored shower gels. I actually have one that smells like
Christmas cookies. And it really does smell like the real thing. I like the
different sense. The company that makes these is called philosophy. This is
the smaller bottles but they also have the mega sizes that are 64 ounces. But
boy when winter comes I'll be putting a lot of lotion on my skin because it
gets very dry because of the heat. And it really took a beating when we had
steam heat with
the radiators. Because you can't control that stuff. When I go back home will
have central air with talking thermostats. I can't wait to play around with
that and see how to work it. Also we're going to have washers and dryer's
with the cards and they say the machine that you put the money on the card
with talks. Man I want to see that too. Our flooring is going to be made out
of bamboo and I think that's kind of neat. I've never felt that kind of
flooring.we're not going to have the parquet tiling anymore. Those tiles if
you got your floor too wet they would pop up. No I don't worry that they
splintered. But I'll be really glad when all this moving stuff is over and
things are put away. Anyway I talk to the library and I change my address
back over to home. Also the homecare got changed so that's all finished. But
anyway the lady left here about 20 after five. My home health aide helped a
little bit with her the stuff too. I think

I'm gonna let them open the box. Because some boxes I still have trouble
opening. I still haven't build up the strength in my right hand and shoulder
yet. I have a lot of work to do on that. But it will come in time. Anyway
not much is going on here. I had my 2 cups of coffee and I'm just listening
to a book. So that's basically how that goes. But my worker comes around 2
o'clock.

I'm just listening to a book right now. Not much is going on here. I think
they were working on apartments next-door to me. I heard them hammering
that now days left. But anyway this afternoon I'll be busy with this one
lady. And my home care aide. I guess she's going to be helping me pack
whether she wants to or not. And I got some sleep last night but not much.
Hopefully when I get home the insomnia will say bye-bye. I sure hope so.
One of my friends said I should talk to my doctor but I said no I don't
want to go on high-powered drugs. I'm not interested in being like a
zombie. Not really. But anyway I hope the technician guy will help me go
through the router thing.

Kathleen, darling, there just aren't enough of us who read braille to

to complain that things aren't in braille. Only ten percent of the blind
population can read braille, so it's not cost effective for companies to
put things into braille.

Yes those people are really nice and the diner. Well I got the email
confirmation from Verizon that my router has been sent. But this
must be a generic email because it says to open the package and then
set up the router. Setting it up according to the instructions in
the welcome book. Well there's no way I'm going to do that because
it's in print. Why they couldn't send the stuff and broil I have no
idea but I wish they would have. I hope the technician will help me
set it up because I'm sure not going to be able to and I wish they
had the contract in braille instead of me having to go online and
try to read it. Especially with the iPhone it would take ages. Well
I'm not sure I would get a cat I thought about it but as I said I
was afraid it would get away. Wow that's quite a story about Brandy.
Thanks goodness he's never gone out since. But at least you can hear
his toenails and you know where he's at. But I bet he's a good
kitty. A fairly big one from what you said befo
DaBut any
way he's probably a good pick pat and a good companion. But I'll be
sure and be good to be in my own for Milyer apartment. I bet people
will still be talking about the bombing. As I said a little voice
told me last Saturday not to go over and visit even though I had
wanted to. And it's a good thing I didn't. But it any rate all my
friends were calling me and telling me what was going on and I
turned on the police scanner that night and it was going crazy. But
today the Packer is coming. I think around three. So will Pack up
the stuff I don't need and then next week they'll finish the rest of
it. But I think I'm going to finish all my frozen food. I may need
the cooler for some cheese and baloney if I can't finish that. The
other stuff is shelfstable so I don't have to worry about it. But
hey what can you do. Pretty soon I'll be on my way home. And my cell
phone will work better and everything and that's a good thing. But
anyway I'm reading this book called split-second by
ttvid Bell
duty and I think it's going to be good.

Hi Kathleen,
Yum, that café would probably be a place I'd go to often if I lived in
your area. Sounds as though they're really good people there.
When Brandy was a baby, less than a year old but still considered a
kitten, he walked out of the house when I did early one morning. I
was absolutely terrified. Brandy does have a chip implanted in his
neck so if he does get lost he can be recovered. I was fortunate
in that he was absolutely terrified of being outside. He wedged
himself near my nextdoor neighbor's house, in a corner. The grass
was very high there, and he buried himself there. I'd asked a
couple of neighbors if they could retrieve him for me, but they
could not. So, when Herbert my neighbor finally got home some
hours later, he needed to take my hand and lead me through the maze
of things they have outside in their yard. At first Brandy hissed
at me until he smelled a dirty sweat shirt I had on hand. Very
gently, I wrapped him up in the sweat shirt and carried him inside.
He has never, ever wanted to venture outside since that time. I
had a bell on him then but I don't now. His toenails are pre
any
long so
I can tellwhere he is.
If you were to get a cat, I would advisethat you get the cat as a
kitten. At least in my experience, a kitten seems to be able to take
our blindness in stride perhaps better than an adult cat you'd adopt
from a rescue agency would.

Yes I eat there a lot and they're very nice people there too.
Especially on Fridays or specialist macaroni and cheese and fish
cakes. And I really like it. Anyway how do you make sure he brandy
doesn't get out of your apartment? Do you have a bell on him? How
do you actually tell where he is because kitties don't make a lot
of noise. I hope you don't mind me asking but I had thought about
getting a cat once but those were the things I was afraid of. But
yes I hope things go better when I get home. I'm getting rid of
Time Warner for phone and I'm going to get high-speed Internet and
phone through Verizon. But they told me I can keep my current email
address. I guess the package with the router and it will be there
when I get home. According to the email I got from them they told
me to set up the router with the welcome package which I'm not
gonna be able to do because it's in print. I don't know why they
sent me an email like that when I told him I was blind. Oh well.

to be here tomorrow and that's a good thing so she can help me pack
and also observe the people. And make sure stuff doesn't get
forgotten. Like some did when I moved over here. And the moving
person said he had a cooler if I needed it but I may not. He said
he bring it just in case. But hey what can you do. It's getting
closer to me going home. And I'm really glad to. Anyway your night
really sounded like a hellish event

Hi Kathleen,
Well, it'll not be long before your move happens, and we're all
hoping and praying for you that things begin to go better for you
once you're settled and back in your own apartment. It can't have
been easy for those staying at Selis Manor last weekend, and indeed, I
think you're lucky not to have been there.
But, not knowing is very hard, too. Fortunately, in some ways,
you don't have a pet you're responsible for. That's always a worry
when there's an emergency.
Thankfully, people in your building were able to get food
delivered to them fixed by the café down the street. Do you ever eat
there?
