Detroit's 100 Greatest Songs extra: Top rock tracks Brian McCollum , Detroit 
Free Press Pop Music Critic Voting by thousands of fans and music professionals
determined our list of' Detroit's 100 Greatest Songs , a months-long Free Press 
countdown that wrapped up in July. Voters made more than 100,000 song 
selections,
and we promised to drill deep into those results to compile some tailored 
rankings the top songs by genre, decade and other criteria. We'll be rolling out
those lists for the next two weeks. These specialty rankings give a look well 
beyond the overall'100, featuring many titles that didn't make that final
cut. Today we start'with the 60 biggest selections in the rock genre.

Boy, had to do a lot of formatting on this one.  Took out all the apostrophes. 
There were apostrophes joining words, so screen reader reading was real tough 
until I removed them.  Put all the numbers on a new line, and took out all the 
references to photos.  I sure hope someone other than John Jacques, appreciates
