Community Café: Where customers pay whatever they want.
One World Everybody Eats Founder Denise Cerreta
One World Everybody Eats has helped to organize a very interesting
concept: community cafes which are pay-whatever-you-want restaurants
that defy traditional economic theory.
For what they really are, are people helping people, including feeding
those without money, free of charge.
Today, there are 55 community cafes in the U.S. and one in Amsterdam,
with more to come.
Traditional economic theory says people will pay only what they must,
and not one penny more.
But it turns out that most people will pay what they think is fair, and
sometimes pay even more to offer a helping hand to others.
Also, because many people enjoy being with others, these community
cafes offer that company in a cordial setting, hence the name
"community."
This concept is working so well, that some customers even volunteer
their time to help.
To see this remarkable concept for yourself, please enjoy this

Success Tip of the Week:         If there is a community café near you,
support it with your business or by volunteering some of your time to
help. To see the current list of community cafes, click here.
