Gotta agree with ya there. I can't believe what passes for good music now.

I have to admit that I don't know much of Adele and her music. I am so surprised to hear that she has 25 albums out?? Why haven't I heard of her before?

I have heard "Hello" far too many times, and now I just turn it off if it ever comes on the radio. I just do not like it anymore. I think they played it far too often and wore it out. I don't think I've heard anyone play any other song by her.

I do like Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand -- they did have powerful voices, and enjoyed some of their work. Not all. So I can't make any comparison with this newcomer.

I find it funny sometimes when I think of really great singers, and then hear a 30-something give their list. It's all artists I've never heard of, or that really aren't that good at all! Funny how our tastes change over generations. Will these young kids today think back on some of these mundane singers (I use that word lightly) as being great singers? They just have no taste, if you ask me! But then, I'm from an ancient time!

Well, honestly, I was a critic of this article. From what I’ve heard of Adele’s music, which I have both 19 and 21 albums, I didn’t hear the unique pipes they refer to, that Barbra Streisand has.
