RE: subtract dates

In a production system if you are subtracting 2 dates and multiplying by one of 
24,1440 or 86400 to obtain differences in the relevant units, it may well be 
worth noting that the days between date 1 and date 2 may not necessarily have 
24 hours in them, and therefore the calculation may be incorrect.

This is about the 3rd time I have tried to send this message to the list, I get 
no delivery failure but my message does not appear. On the other hand messages 
I have sent in the mean time are appearing. Is Mladen occasionally connecting 
me to dev/null for fun, am I incompetent (actually don't answer that) or is 
this perhaps happening to others? Natuarlly my mail administrators say that 
there is nothing wrong (and point me to the lack of error messages as 'proof').
