I could confirm that enough free space is available in c: Why I am thinking it is network related is, other workstations on the same network as mine also facing the similar issue. If I do select * from <an application table>, just hangs but If I do select query on the first 27 columns of the same table it returns records. Also select * from <an application table> where empid=1, will retrieve data as there is single record involved, there by less amount of data. Really strange. Thanks.
