sql 'alter session set optimizer_mode=rule'; maybe helpful, oracle also provide such solution for us. we have same issue on some old DB version 8.17 with catalog version 10.2.X No good solution, and the final solution is to re-register the db, and do not using crosscheck, but change .... crosscheck. hope can help.
