Nope. The parameters you want to set are "make_queries_run_faster" set =
to true,
and "bypass_suboptimal_design" also set to true. You should be
on the right Oracle version, set those two parameters, and everything=20
will run much faster. Alternatively, one could experiment with using
the THC method for tuning the RDBMS performance =
(THC=3DTetrahydrocannabinol)
which is the extension of the "method C" from Cary's book.
