Title: Production DBA - Oracle 9i/10G
Experience as a production DBA in a Decision Support environment
managing database availability, user access and security.
Understanding of Data Warehouse Architecture and concepts and experience
working with large-scale multi-terabyte databases
Solid Oracle 9i/10G expertise and knowledge of another relational
database engine, such as DB2 UDB EEE, Teradata or Informix XPS
Strong knowledge of, and experience with, SQL. Ability to write and
analyze SQL queries for performance.
Ability to read and interpret query plans, database statistics and
database performance measurements
Experience in measuring, analyzing and tuning the performance of
Business Intelligence database applications
Experience in Back-up/Recovery and archiving strategies and procedures
Strong UNIX/Linux and shell scripting skills
Job location is North of Boston
