RE: dump to CSV (comma-separated values) file format

shame on me for not coming to the list with a question to "answer"
a question, but although I haven't gotten around to testing it, I
believe 
external tables are writable...seems you could create the external table
and do a CTAS ?
 
I need to go look into that ...
