Single password file on shared disk is what we always recommend to
people. Just simplifies administration, less chance of inconsistency,
etc.

Thanks,

Matt

Subject: changing password of user with sysdba/sysoper in RAC
environment

So you RAC people out there, whats the practice you're using?

Single password file on shared disk?

Change the password on each node with separate password files on each
OH/dbs directory?

Any other options?

thanks, joe
