You should be able to turn it off without any dire consequences ... I'd open a
SR with Oracle first just to make sure there isn't some patch available for
your problem.

Subject: autospace advisor job and this oracle table:
WRI$_ADV_OBJSPACE_TREND_DATA`

Does anyone know if there are consequences to disabling the
AUTO_SPACE_ADVISOR_JOB ? ts causing performance problems.

Also, when i check my locked objects, I find that this table is locked alot
(same with a few other WRI$ tables) WRI$_ADV_OBJSPACE_TREND_DATA

are these tables used by the auto_space_advisor_job? Nothing really on google
about it.

I checked google and i saw a few posts asking about turning this off. Its
causing performance problems. What are the consequences? I can't find anything.
