Hi

I am assuming that oracle has supplied the "solution" by analysing the logs
send to them.
If that is the case, than the monitoring of the system is for 2 purposes.
1. See if the bug is fixed (one week may not be enough as previously
pointed out)
2. Test that the application still works as before and a week should be
plenty to test that.

purpose 2 is more important than 1 in my opinion as the proposed solution
has a very high probability of succes
