I've done some reading in Robert's book, and I think I can address the matter. It isn't that sqlplus will go away. It's that Oracle will continue to hire Visual Basic programmers to continue to "enhance" sqlplus with package/procedure calls that are so insane and arbitrary that you will WANT sqlplus to go away. I wish, if Oracle is going to do this, they would at least restrict their hiring to old Motif programmers. > -----Original Message----- > not only is SQL*Plus > supported, but there are some new features > > Robert > Author: Oracle Database 10g New Features ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
