I was explicitly mentioned in the message, so I'm well within my rights
to respond. I didn't continue the original debate, because I've said what
I wanted to say, but when provoked like that, I will respond. You can read
him or you can ignore him, but what you can not do is to patronize me. I need
this list as a place to ask questions and read interesting stuff, and a Tom
Kyte wannabe posting in bad English is just something to make this list more
difficult to read and, thus, less useful. Unfortunately for me, he chose this
list for his ego trip. You may read him or you may not. Your taste doesn't have
to be identical to mine but I do take offense when being scolded about open
mindedness.
In addition to that, I mustn't forget to express my eternal gratitude for you
telling
me what this list is about. Being a member only about 8 years, I didn't have
enough
time to figure it out on my own. Now, be open minded about this!
