OT - Intervention Needed?

So I am reading a trace file from our production system and see this
message:
"internal error ORA-600 seen on the error stack process appears to be
having problems repeatedly, committing suicide Shadow_Core_Dump = partial"
My question is:
What could a cruel developer do, to make a process to repeatedly try to
commit suicide?
