I think this is the type of question that no-one would be able to answer
without running up a test to see.
It's possible that that would be sufficient, though I wouldn't expect it to
be the case.
The only way to find out would be to create an 11.2.0.3, then try to
startup with 11.2.0.4, shutdown and see what happens when you tyr to create
a controlfile (i.e. repeat the steps you think might have happened).
It's one of those details that it would be satisfying to know, but not
worth the effort of finding out.
