Hi Andrew,

I am in the unfortunate position of being totally unable to download anything
from MOS these days. Using IE or Firefox I get to about half a gig and it blows
up on me.

Using my laptop and an exceedingly slow Wifi link, I managed to download 10g
client (447 Mb) and the 10205 patch set (1 Gb) this morning. (From the UK).

Everything worked fine, if a tad slow.

Prior to that, I failed to download 11.2.0.2 before they broke it, as well as
Oracle Enterprise Linux 64 bit, either on my own laptop or the work one where I
needed the stuff. The downloads worked but although the MD5 checksums were ok,
there was a reported "corruption" in various files during install.

I ended up ordering the software on DVD in the end - no problems installing
from that.

Cheers,
Norm.
