Is the patch stuck at a single worker?
What is the average speed of workers completion?
How many workers are used by adpatch ?
SGA of 5G when we have 16G of memory might not be the best. Consider
increasing it to 8G if /dev/shm allows it.
Try to run AWR report for a duration of 2hrs when patch is running and see
what is the top wait event. It might give an insight into what is going
wrong.
