How to encrypt the data in reports/csv file?

Dear All,
DB Version is 8.1.7.3
We are generating reports from oracle DB in csv format. This reports has to be
mailed out to the users in encryption format.
How do we do that in Sun Solaris? Also the users want the file to be password
protected.
Does anyone have sample scripts or can refer any resources?
