Great. Yeah. I was wondering if it was being caused by
a client application or configuration issue, but
posted anyway.
Application issues can get complicated. If you need to
map out your configuration remember that Java has its
own charactersets.
For example, if you have a Forms application that runs
fine (*fine* means characterset working), but you run
Forms in the middle tier with "Oracle's Java/Forms
server" (sorry, can't remember the name of the
official forms server), then you need to include the
correct java charset libraries in the middle tier,
too. Other applications might have similar
complications.
