Of primary interest would be the latest configuration change data stored in the
repository. As one goes back in time this gets less interesting. There is
also the problem of setting up other administrators for subsets of targets
again. I must admit a brand new clean repository and for us a little extra
work is preferable.

How far back do you have your repository retaining data? Most EM environments
roll up data on a regular basis and with a secondary system, by the time you're
ready to implement to production, the repository is now the holder of the
historical data.
The second choice is to upgrade the repository to 12.1.0.2 and then upgrade to
EM13c, which is more than doable if you wish to perform this path. :)

What about any historical data in the present repository?

Hi Jeff,
You'll want to install it in a new repository and use a 12.1.0.2 version of the
database.
Thanks,
Hope this helps,

My current EM environment is installed on a Windows server because so are our
database. But I finally got the approval to move to Linux so I might as well
move EM to Linux as well. I was wondering if I can install EM13c fresh on a
Linux server but keep my same repository database.
What is that process like? Or should I just install fresh everything?
Oh and the repository database is also on Windows but was planning on keeping
that there for simplicity.
Thanks
