Archive Log Activity?

We do a FULL RMAN backup each night and there are over 1200 Archive Logs 
generated which seems high to me. Is there a script I can see, by object, that 
tells me where the REDO is being created?

We are on OEL, 10.2.0.4, RAC (2-node), ASM
