WRT 9.2.0.8, there's only one thing that's bitten us, and it only applies if you have any SQL embedded within a PL/SQL block that gets data via a database link from another 9.2.0.8 database on a platform with different "Endianness" - for us, Linux and HPUX. We went from 9.2.0.4 to 9.2.0.8, but I don't think this was a problem with 9.2.0.6. Anyway, see bug 5671074 for the one-off patch. Jack C.
