adcfgclone.pl dbTier log, the registration to central inventory fails

Does anyone got some fixes for the below error other than rebuilding
oraInventory
In clone adcfgclone.pl dbTier log, the registration to central inventory
failed .
Beginning APPSDB_sgdev registration to central inventory...

I checked the regOUI_APPSDB_sgdev.sh and changed some class paths , when i
ran script manually again i got Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError at
oracle.sysman.oii.oiic.OiicStandardInventorySession.endSession(
OiicStandardInventorySession.java:356) at
oracle.apps.ad.clone.util.OracleHomeCloner.registerOracleHome(
OracleHomeCloner.java:314) at
oracle.apps.ad.clone.util.OracleHomeCloner.registerOracleHome(
OracleHomeCloner.java:165) at
oracle.apps.ad.clone.util.OracleHomeCloner.main(OracleHomeCloner.java:1122)
Registration failed
OPATCH still points to 9.2.0 products :: Lsinventory Output file ( we have
10.2.0.3)
Installed Top-level Products (2): Oracle 9iR2 Patchset 9.2.0.7.0 Oracle9i
Database 9.2.0.1.0 There are 2 products installed in this Oracle Home. There
are some hits in the metalink. eg - note 390599.1
But nothing has helped
