Apps Tier on LINUX

Hi All,
I am in the process of migrating the apps tier to the LINUX (RedHat 4)
platform, and was wondering if any of you have done so, if yes were
there any gotchas or best parctices used for the exercise in addition to
or within note id:238276.1.
Also if any of u folks support the App Tier currently on the LINUX
(RedHat 4) platform, any useful tips or lessons learnt would be great to
know.
