I agree Hasan. All "non-myd" devices that image with visible wavelengths rely
on dilation to some extent. For many patients, physiologic dilation isn't
enough, especially when taking multiple images or peripheral views. All work
better with some pharmacologic dilation.

My experience is with Topcon TRC-NW100
Easy to use, economical, with good quality images, it's used in our screening
clinic for many years now.
I trained many nurses, medical students, optometrists, and junior medical staff
to capture fundus images with an ease
Just like mentioned earlier most cameras will work
whilst most of the population here in the middle east have relatively darker
complexion than in North America for example, some of the images I have
captured were not good (dark), and we have to put one drop of dilating drops to
get better results, which defies that original purpose, but this was not just
in Topcon camera, I have seen this with other cameras as well.

What does everyone think would be the best non-mydriatic camera for use in a
primary care clinic? This might be used by RNs, and medical assistants without
any eye experience. Thanks for your insight.
