I just had an interesting conversation with the driver of one of our patients. It seems she was a former employee of a medical group in S.C. and told me that her doctors did a lot of these "IVP dye tests". I quizzed her as to whether or not it was an internal med practice. "No" she informed me it was ophthalmology. I explained to her that FA isn't, and hasn't ever been an IVP dye. She insisted that they used IVP dye in "South Carolina, because they do it old school there". My goodness. I tried in vain to explain the difference but alas, it was to no avail. Happy happy Monday!
