I have used MS Office for Mac since its inception, but not yet the latest
version of Office. I have had no issues - I seem to be able to open anything
sent to me from any type of computer and any operating system. There are
slight (or is it significant for the odd item) menu placement differences that
you have to get used to.
I have also used MS Office for Window on my Macintosh using VM Fusion as the PC
emulator. That worked ok on the desktop, but there were issues with VM Fusion
recognising important peripherals like a printer - but only for some (less
common) software apps. I have not used the latest couple of versions of VM
Fusion, and they might have fixed the compatibility issues.

I am thinking of purchasing an iMac for my office computer. That would move me
from a Windows 7 based OS on a Dell to Mac. My concern is I use MS Office,
Outlook and PowerPoint a lot in my office routine. If I add MS Office for Mac
will it work without headaches and a lot of issues. Putting a MS software on a
MAC and expecting it to work smoothly gives me pause. Have any of you used
Office for MAC and would you advise against it? Thank you.
