Qualifications Under general supervision, performs visual testing, assist the ophthalmologist/optometrist by greeting and identifying patients, takes a preliminary history, and, as needed, performs visual fields, obtains ocular pressures, dilates pupils performing minor surgical procedures, and performs departmental duties to improve patient flow and department function.
