With Topcon OCT 2000 the default C-Curve (CC) is 7.7 so is
to Spectralis

With Topcon the ability to change that value were not enabled
by default, so most of our scans where made with 7.7mm or 43.75 D

With Spectralis OCT/HRA that option was available for each
patient we entered into the database

So; we were asked to change the default value of 7.7 or 43.75
to the actual patient corneal curvature, especially with astigmatics or with
patient
underwent refractive surgery, as their corneas would exhibit different values
from the norm or what they used to be!

To my understanding that's important with NFL and ONH analysis,
so inaccurate CC readings would give you wrong calculations!

We are doing this for all patients regardless

Thanks

Hello colleagues,

I have received an inquiry from the UK about how often Spectralis users in the
US enter the c-curve information when imaging clinical patients, not just in
clinical trials.

Thanks so much for sharing,
