Not a IV/phlebotomy armrest, but a tattoo armrest! Thinking outside the box,
Nancy!

Subject: [optimal] Arm Rest for performing FA's on OPTOS California
Hello Fellow Imagers,
I noticed there has been some talk about how to position a patient's arm during
the fluorescein angiogram when using the OPTOS California unit.
Optos provided an arm support that had a large wheel base, which is great if
you have the room for it (which most of us do not). Space is a luxury for most
of us. Also, this arm rest does not lock.
I found a tattoo arm rest that is quite sturdy with a small base (as you can
see in the attached image) with a nice large arm rest to work with. Cost
varies depending on where you look. I found this one on AMAZON for $59.95. It
is easily movable to either side of the patient and fits nicely under the OPTOS
unit. It does have a height adjust and angle adjustment for the arm rest
itself.
I highly recommend it. Hopes this information helps.
Best Regards,
