We received several surveys today, mostly from current Optacon users. We also received about six requests for surveys. Our information was posted to TOP TECH TIDBITS a once-a-week technology-related free email magazine. I'm going to write a thank you note to the magazine author, Dean Martineau. One survey which came in from a potential Optacon user, shows an ideal candidate for an Optacon. I told the respondent that there are some Optacons still available and the current cost. I explained about training. Now here would be the use to be made of question ten in the survey where we ask if users would share their experiences with new potential users. This respondent used to be able to read large print. One of our respondents who has an Optacon may need some help with training. I encourage her to let us listers know where she is having trouble. I have two more messages that I can post re scanner tips using the Optacon. One has to do with scanner settings and the other has to do with the problems around multiple columns, why things are missing in scanned documents and so forth. I hope somebody finds these tips helpful. Could someone on the list please contac Leo Drell and ask him to repare a post describing his services as an Optacon repairer? I still need the survey for the Optacon repairers. KEEP POSTING; KEEP PLANNING; KEEP THINKING OF WAYS TO HELP NEW oPTACON USERS. That's it for today.
