subject lines -- from the moderator

A couple days ago the subject (excuse the punn) of subject lines came up.
This thread regarding the calculator lens really illustrates the problem.
There are messages in the thread related to the calculator lens which is quite
appropriate. However, there are also messages having to do with the typewriter
lens. This kind of thing can really make it confusing when reading mail.
Both topics are certainly valid for the list, but please use a subject line
which is appropriate for the particular topic you're responding to.
It will make it much easier for everyone.
