Calculator lens please?

Hi all,
Could someone please explain what this calculator lens is?
Is a special lens needed to read a calculator?
That's about the only thing I never tried to read with my Optacon.
I have a CRT lens & a high magnification lens but did not know there was a
calculator lens.
