[opendtv] Re: Fringe

While watching it, I was wondering if fewer commercials meant lower license
fees, and it that accounted for the EXTREMELY bad acting, seeming lack of
real directing.  I did note a few nice items in the script, and it's always
nice to see Blair Brown, but she did nothing positive to the material.

Tinstafl -- there is no such thing as a free lunch.  "We get what the
commercials pay for."

I haven't yet made up my mind whether I'll continue to watch Fringe.  As 
you say, it's hard to believe and they didn't seem to make much effort 
in that direction.

But I'm still in favor and support of the experiment of reducing the 
percentage of commercials a bit.  It will be interesting to see how that 
works.
