Whoops. Sent before finish my response. Here's the rest.

As usual, broad brush, vague generalities. As much as people are fed up with

neutrality guaranteed.
Yup. And the initial public response to the FBI court order to unlock the
iPhone was largely on the side of the Feds. That is why they chose the San
Bernardino case to try to force Apple to build a back door. People are quick to
support efforts to stop terrorists.
After it became apparent what the FBI is up to, public sentiment has shifted.
The fact that the public and many businesses were vocal about "Network
Neutrality" is not surprising. As we have debated ad nausea, it is a core
underlying principle of the Internet. But a large portion of those comments
were telling the FCC to "keep their damn hands off," that more regulation was
not the answer.
It would be extremely difficult for you to successfully argue against net
neutrality, and against a presumption of privacy on broadband or telephone
lines. Get real.
Totally orthogonal argument. Arguing for the right position in these debates
does not automatically mean arguing for government regulation. History has
proven that this often leads to unintended consequences, loss of freedom, and
higher costs to consumers.
