Cool. By the way, what is the status on the MidiPlayer? A few weeks
ago I let you know that the MidiPlayer is now part of the prefs/apps
team and no longer of the Midi team. Do you still want to work on
it? (After all, it is your code...) Maybe it is time to move it out
of the /src/tests/.../midi_player_replacement directory and into
/src/apps.

Thank you ;-) To avoid misunderstandings let me make clear that I
don't need any help right now on midi2. That means that I will
implement all of the midi2 kit all by myself. The reason is that
everything in the midi2 kit works very closely together, and it is
impossible to split it up in separate chunks that multiple people
can work on. If other people were working on this too, then we would
just get in each other's way. Just wanted to make that clear. Of
course, there is enough work to do on midi1 and the softsynth, too
;-)
