             Bug #: 870
           Summary: zDOOM 1.22 - 1.23 Compatability (Rex's Darkest Hour)
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Odamex
           Version: 0.6-dev
          Platform: Xbox
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Client
        AssignedTo: odamex-bug-reporter@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: advertandentice@xxxxxxxxx

I was eager to see slopes implemented in Odamex so that I could play through
Rex's Darkest Hour on my XBOX and or AROS machine. Sadly I discovered that even
though this is a Total Conversion dedicated to ZDOOM 1.22, it is not fully
supported by Odamex.

There is a part in the first level where Rex somehow created a floor under a
floor. I.E. Above is a hallway, and crossing underneath that hall way is an air
shaft that you are expected to crawl through later on in the map.

For what ever reason there is an invisible wall there and you can not walk down
the hall way and over the air shaft.

Secondly, there is a part where you need to pick up a suit in order to open the
door to go outside. Even after picking up the suit the game still tells you
that you need the suit to open the door. I've not opened the WAD to look at it,
but I would presume that this is a scripting compatibility error?

In case you have been living in a cave all these years (I know I have), you can
download Darkest Hour here:

Thank you! :)
