I've been working on BDirectWindow replacement in my spare cycles.
The BGameSound is a good place to dig in.
(BTW, I finally did solve the keyboard problem on at least one of my dual
machines, so I can
now actually be productive :) ) USB keyboard had to be plugged in after the
machine booted up.
(strange)
