A flock of 400 California Gulls in February seems like
a lot. They are a conspicuous pelagic species in Oregon
in the fall. But there are currently atypically large numbers
in Portland. A hold over from fall rather than storm effect
I'd guess. Maybe more lingered offshore as well.
