One the way back from visiting Laura's brother in Wyoming we took I-84 as far west as the Lexington exit, went to Heppner and Condon, then through Fulton Canyon back to I-84. Most birding was incidental, while en route, with occasional stops. We saw both Ferrugionous and Swainson's Hawks in Malheur, Union, Umatilla, and Morrow Counties. Birded Condon for a couple of hours on 4/28.
